Bienvenidos!

At Dos Raicez, we believe food is a bridge between cultures, generations, and communities. Our name which translates to "two roots," reflects the foundation of who we are: the deep roots we carry from Mexico and the roots we continue to grow here in the Bay Area.

Founded by husband ​& wife Elton and Michell, Dos Raicez is shaped by both our stories. Chef Elton was born in Mexico, attended culinary school in Hidalgo, and traveled throughout the country learning its rich traditions and flavors. Michell was born in Mexico but grew up in the Bay Area and bring more than 15 years of hospitality experience along with a love for creating meaningful connections. We're honored to share our food at your events, gatherings, and celebrations.
